kbex nonfiction

Our topics are media, communication, philosophy, economy. We are looking for texts with value – more important than the topic area are the idea, the method and the approach. It's worth trying: Let us know what you want to let the world know.

kbex fiction

We are looking for texts that explore borders. We are not looking for reproductive fiction that is just (re)telling stories, but for exploring, researching texts that create something while telling, that create new relations, new ways to tell. We don't want fascinating stories that are told like hundred other stories have been told before.
You have something else to tell? You have something to tell differently? We are all ears.

Online Media

themashazine.com is the magazine for new online media, presenting basics, evaluating solutions and discussing views, backgrounds, trends and principles.
The title derives from the term mashup – and that's it's program.

Wikipedia knows several definitions of mashup; these are those that describe us:

  • Mashup (web application hybrid), a web application that combines data and/or functionality from more than one source
  • Mashup (digital), a digital media file containing any or all of text, graphics, audio, video, and animation, which recombines and modifies existing digital works to create a derivative work.

themashazine deals with all relevant topics of the online world; we focus on the effects of online media on communicating, publishing and understanding – covering theory and (business-)practice. Contributors are welcome: editors (at) the mashazine.com
